What is it all about?

A slow-luxury five-day creative retreat in Puglia: weaving, sewing, printing, pasta-making, golden-hour hill towns and one glorious dinner under the stars at Lifestyle Emporium Puglia

Airport/ train station transfers can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 1 – Arrival, settle in and welcome dinner
Afternoon arrivals into Brindisi or Bari. Transfers to Lifestyle Emporium Puglia.
Welcome aperitivo in the courtyard.
Gentle intro session: meet the makers, retreat overview, inspiration boards.
Dinner at the house: Puglian sharing table with local wine and seasonal food.

Day 2 – Weaving and Ceglie Messapica evening
Morning: Introduction to frame weaving — texture, colour, yarns and simple pattern work.
Lunch at the house.
Afternoon: Continue weaving; create a small wall hanging or table piece.
Early evening: Guided wander around Ceglie Messapica.
Dinner in Ceglie old town.

Day 3 – Sewing and Ostuni evening
Morning: Simple hand-sewn or machine-sewn project — apron, market bag, cushion cover or textile keepsake.
Lunch at the house.
Afternoon: Embellishment session using trims, recycled fabrics and embroidery.
Evening: Trip to Ostuni for golden-hour views and aperitivo.
Dinner in Ostuni.

Day 4 – Printing and pasta-making
Morning: Block printing or lino-style textile printing on fabric or paper.
Lunch at the house.
Afternoon: Pasta-making workshop — orecchiette or seasonal filled pasta.
Evening: Group dinner using the handmade pasta with the chef.
Optional after-dinner craft salon: bring your unfinished pieces, wine, music, gossip — very important!

Day 5 – Finishing, mini exhibition and departures
Morning: Finish and photograph completed work.
Mini show-and-tell in the courtyard.
Light farewell brunch.
Transfers to Brindisi/Bari for afternoon or evening flights.

The workshop will run with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 7.

*Meals will be from a set menu with meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian options. Moderate alcohol consumption is equal to 2 alcoholic drinks per person, per meal.
